    Privacy

Eyeshot stores your scores. That is the whole product, so here is exactly what that means.

    • Playing without signing in sets a random cookie so your day's score is not counted twice. It identifies this browser or app installation. Signing in connects its scores and groups to your account.
    • Signing in with Google gives us your name, email, and picture. We use them to show your handle and avatar on the leaderboard and to keep your streak across devices. We never post anything on your behalf.
    • Your daily attempts (such as the points of your circle and your taps) are sent to verify your score and saved with your result so you can revisit each shot. Full replays are private; public boards and groups show scores, not your drawings or taps. When you share a result, its link preview can include selected marks from your shots. Signing in makes completed daily replays available on your other devices. On your device we save recent attempts, result images, and preferences so you can resume or revisit your shots. The native app keeps these in its private app storage. Deleting your account also deletes its saved attempts.
    • No ads and no third-party trackers. We keep our own counters: visits, plays, shares, referring site (never the full page), input type, approximate run duration, and the Fly.io region that served the request. These counters are kept for up to 90 days. Our game database does not store IP addresses. Fonts are hosted here.
    • A guest nickname is a display name, not a login. Guest identity is saved in this browser or app; another browser or device has a different guest. Clearing site or app data, or uninstalling the app, can remove guest access. Sign in from the original browser or app to carry your submitted guest scores, groups, and rivalries into your account.
    • Joining a private group shares your nickname, daily scores, and the last 30 days of shot scores with its members. Anyone with its invite link can join, and its owner can remove members. Joining Eyeshot Global is optional and shares the same member profile. Its public discovery shows only aggregate member and played counts. Leaving or being removed from a group does not erase your personal scores.
    • You can erase your account yourself at any time. Open the account panel and choose Delete account. It removes your handle, your scores, and your sign-in, and it cannot be undone.
    • Anything else, ask the maker at aj8uppal.github.io.

    Terms

Eyeshot is a free daily game made by AJ Uppal. Playing it means accepting these terms.

    • Playing. Free, and no account is needed. Each day's set counts once. Every score is checked on our server, and an attempt that fails that check does not count.
    • Fair play. Do not script or automate the game, and do not tamper with scores. We may remove scores or close accounts that do.
    • Your handle. Choose one that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone. We may change or remove a handle, or close an account, when it breaks these terms.
    • What is public. Your handle, your picture, and your daily scores appear on the leaderboard. Your email address never does.
    • What is ours. The Eyeshot name, look, artwork, and code belong to the maker. Share your result cards and screenshots anywhere you like. Do not copy the site's code or artwork, and do not pass off a copy as Eyeshot.
    • No guarantees. The game is provided as it is. It may change, break, or stop. We are not liable for any loss arising from using it.
    • Changes. These terms may change, and the current version always lives here.
